From the moment we met Dave at “A Place in the Sun” exhibition, to the moment we signed the contract on our house in Abruzzo, we knew we could trust him. This was a really key thing when you are investing in a dream in another country. We signed up for one of his tours of Abruzzo and the fun and humour (and red wine) that ensued was like being on “Car Share.” Through this tour we met some lovely people, many of whom have purchased a house in Abruzzo and we are still in touch. Yes, and we did look at a huge range of houses in a variety of towns and villages, as well as falling in love with Abruzzo. The team at Vignaverde ( Dave, Silvana, Claudio, Pino and Angela) supported us through the whole process from finding the right house, opening a bank account, advising us on the way forward, to ensuring we understood the contract and process with the notary and leading the restoration of our property. Nothing was too much trouble and we were never rushed into a decision. They make a great team with all the skills and experience to make a dream come true. We will always be grateful to all of them. We hope you fall in love with Abruzzo as well. It is a special place with lovely, welcoming people; mountains, countryside and seaside; wonderful food and wine. But don’t tell everyone!
