Vignaverde were definitely the right choice! We hedged our bets (as most people do) and met lots of agents when we went out to look for our house. Vignaverde were the best by a mile. We did a lot of research before heading out on a viewing trip about both the buying process and the properties but there’s still a point when you need to put your faith in someone to manage the whole buying procedure and formalities (bank accounts, tax codes etc) and I can honestly say we would not have had the confidence in anyone else to do this for us.
We met vignaverde for a meeting in their office initially to run through our requirements and the properties we would like to see. Dave spent a long time (including outside office hours) with us showing not just properties but the pros and cons of all the areas we were looking in against our criteria. In fact we ended up buying one of the houses he showed us in between our viewings of our selected properties.
There was no pressure and none of the all to common ‘taking you round the places at the top end of your budget or higher’ that you hear stories about. Every property we saw was either selected by us or matched our criteria perfectly. The place we bought was actually well inside our budget even before a fairly successful haggling process!
Regarding the formalities, the process was exactly as described all the way along with no surprises. The team took the time to ensure we understood every aspect of the process, pitfalls and formalities at our pace, and made sure we were happy. They did everything for us from start to finish and everyone we dealt with were supportive and genuinely nice people. The day of the sale went like clockwork and they had celebratory drinks with us afterwards, a nice end to a day that was enjoyable rather than stressful!
We were so impressed that we are having our building work done through vignaverde, a decision we made with confidence.
